They are also good with children, other dogs, and pets provided that they are properly trained. Some fox red Labrador retrievers may manifest a strong instinctive prey drive and chase other family pets, but proper training during puppyhood can avert the behavior.

The Red Fox Labrador's lifespan is, on average, between 10 and 12 years. Generally, he is a healthy dog with no major concerns to be worried about. The color of his coat has no bearing on his health in any way. As such, he shares the same health issues as any other Labrador.

The short, reddish coats of these dogs don't require much grooming. Still, some regular maintenance will keep your pet looking and feeling healthy and happy. Since these dogs have short, dense fur, it's best to brush them weekly with a slick or bristle brush to keep it shiny and reduce shedding.

Puppy reservations are made in order that deposits are received. If deposits are placed before the puppies have reached seven weeks old we hold your pick and will contact the client again at seven weeks to then make your selection. We take pride in assisting with matching the perfect puppy with your family. Picks can be carried over to another litter if a current puppy is not a match for your family. Deposits on carried over picks and reservations made after 2 weeks are nonrefundable.
Our puppies will come home with a puppy packet that includes the following: A written guarantee for one year on hips and genetic defects. AKC registration paperwork. All shots and deworming records. A clean bill of health from a licensed veterinarian. A small bag of puppy food and feeding information.
We also include a toy that has been played with by the puppy and their littermates. The scent of the littermates helps the puppy to adjust more comfortably to their new surroundings.
All pet puppies will be sold with limited registration unless otherwise discussed with the breeder. Limited registration means that the dog is registered but no litters born from that dog are eligible for registration. It is eligible to be entered into any AKC show event. Limited registration can be changed to full registration only by the original litter owner.
